Open Call for the programme SARACOTEIO - Screendance
The Quinzena de Dança de Almada - International Dance Festival, in partnership with the Festival Uabá of Cape Verde and the ROLLOUT Dance Film Festival of Macau, have joined forces this year to launch a joint program aimed at promoting dance videos and films dedicated to the performative body in the community of Portuguese-speaking countries.
Applications are open for auditions for the Basic and High School Course in Dance in Almada: 2026/27 academic year
The Companhia de Dança de Almada | Ca.DA Escola announces the opening of applications for auditions for access to the Basic and High School Course in Dance, in an articulated teaching regime, for the academic year 2026/2027. This is a unique opportunity for young students with a vocation for dance who wish to combine excellent artistic training with regular schooling.
In March, "Quimera" will be presented to schools in Almada with free admission
Next March, the Companhia de Dança de Almada will once again present the children's and youth show "Quimera," by choreographer Bruno Duarte, to schools in Almada.
Open Call for the 2026 International Platform for Choreographers
The call for applications is open for professional choreographers and dance companies wishing to participate in the 2026 International Platform for Choreographers, a section of the Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival.
