Companhia de Dança de Almada has opened two calls for professional choreographers, dance companies and video directors who want to participate in the 31st edition of the Quinzena de Dança de Almada festival.
Interested parties can submit their proposals until January 22, 2023, for the International Platform for Choreographers and April 9, 2023, for the Videodance Exhibition. Conditions and online forms are available here.
Created in 1992, the Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival is today a space for the presentation and promotion of Dance, offering the public a set of events that are highly representative of national and international Contemporary Dance.
In addition to the performances, the Festival offers other activities, such as workshops, exhibitions, meetings, videodance and a choreographic platform, in formal or informal spaces, thus opening the possibility of dialogue with urban architecture.
The event has the participation of independent Contemporary Dance companies and creators from various parts of the world, making it one of the important annual meeting points for choreographers, dancers and other Dance professionals.
