Choreographer São Castro premieres new work in Almada, marking the centenary of the death of Franz Kafka
In the year when it is marked the centenary of the death of Franz Kafka, choreographer São Castro responded to the Companhia de Dança de Almada invitation for the creation of a new work, in which she proposed to combine the body and its expressive potential with the visceral and enigmatic narrative of the writer.
In September Ca.DA promotes exchanges in the international dance community
On the 20th and 21st September, the Companhia de Dança de Almada promotes a meeting of dance professionals with the purpose of developing exchanges in the international community.
In its 32nd edition, the festival Quinzena de Dança de Almada maintains the structure that established it as a unique event of its kind in Portugal
Between September 19th and October 6th, 2024, the international festival Quinzena de Dança de Almada - with artistic direction by Ana Macara and Maria Franco - returns for its 32nd edition, with a surprising and diverse program that will occupy several spaces in the Almada city. The commitment to inclusion and promotion of new talent continues to be a fundamental pillar, as does the focus given to new creations.
