“Quimera” (Chimera), the new Companhia de Dança de Almada’s program for children and youth premieres in February 2025

Next February, the Almada Dance Company will premiere a new creation aimed at children and young people and their families.

“Quimera” (Chimera), by choreographer and dancer Bruno Duarte, is the story of a silent struggle, ought from within, where each fragment carries the memory of the questions that the character, Ari, and so many other young people, ask about the future, justice, and what it means to grow up.

"Forget Me Not" at Aerowaves in Sofia

The project "Forget Me Not" by Catarina Casqueiro and Tiago Coelho continues its development. In the last weeks a big impulse was given during Quinzena de Dança de Almada - International Dance Festival, in Almada, Portugal, with a lot of involvement of the choreographers with the audiences, new dancers, the production team and international professional attendants to the festival.
